A great number of the yoga practices help keep the body heathy and vital, they boost the body’s immune system and increase concentration and self-confidence. In addition to these positive effects, yoga is an effective system of gently training all the muscles, tendons and ligaments, supporting and harmonising the circulatory system, increasing the overall bodily energy levels and dissolving blockages and tension. You will find a range of yoga classes in our programme. These classes are open for all, which means you need not register for them. We teach classical hatha yoga if not otherwise mentioned. |
Ayurveda is a thousand year old Indian system to keep the human body, its mind and soul healthy. The word Ayurveda means „the science of life“. It is a system which can affect all walks of life, when completely integrated, covering areas as diverse as diet and medicine. The ayurvedic massages are one of the most delightful and beneficial aspects of ayurveda, using high quality oils which are warmed before they are massaged into the body. Can Shiva offers a selection of massages and treatments. You have the possibility of receiving a dosha determination if you wish to benefit even more from ayurveda, and thus learn more about your ayurvedic constitution in order to be able to live according to the ayurvedic principles.
